YUAN LU, VP and Chief Scientist, Sai MicroElectronics, Inc (SMEI), got his PhD from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Wayne State University. Dr. Lu had worked for various US semiconductor companies for 20 years before he came to China, and joined the Institute of Microelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences as a professor in 2012. Dr Lu's RD interest and experiences are in semiconductor area, especially in MEMS fabrication, IC and MEMS integration, semiconductor heterogeneous integration at wafer level, etc. He joined Silex Microsystems(Beijing) in 2022 as Chief Scientist. He has been promoted and worked as VP and Chief Scientist with SMEI (Silex parent company) since 2023.
