个人简介 Dean Klein is Vice President of Advanced Memory Solutions at Micron Technology. Mr. Klein joined Micron in January 1999, after having held several leadership positions at Micron Electronics, Inc., including Executive Vice President of Product Development and Chief Technical Officer. He also co-founded and served as President of PC Tech, Inc., previously a wholly-owned subsidiary of Micron Electronics, Inc., from its inception in 1984. Mr. Klein earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Mr. Klein has over 250 patents in the area of computer architecture. 摘要 A History and Future of Memory Innovation Often taken for granted, solid state semiconductor memory is the enabler of today’s digital world. Today’s memory chips pack billions of transistors onto single slivers of silicon and push the boundaries of both packaging and density. This seminar will take a look back on the history of memory, leading up to today’s DRAM and NAND flash memory and ending with a glimpse into the future of memories to come. |
