Cheng Liu is as an Associate Professor at the State Key Lab of Processors (SKLP), Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He received his Ph.D. from The University of Hong Kong in 2016 and his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2009 and 2007, respectively. His research interests include fault-tolerant computing, domain specific architectures,and AI4EDA. He has authored over 70 scientific publications in premier international conferences and journals. He received the Best Paper Award at the Great Lakes Symposium on VLSI in 2021 and IEEE Transactions on Computers in 2021, and Huawei Olympus Awards in 2024. He serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing. He is a senior member of IEEE and CCF, and has been a TPC member for multiple conferences such as DAC, FPT, ICLR, and AAAI.
