Dr. Jihoon Seo is an assistant professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Clarkson University, USA. Dr. Seo received his Bachelor of Science degree in materials science and engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea, and his Ph.D. degree in energy engineering from HYU. His research interests have focused on the development of CMP slurries and post-CMP cleaning solutions through a fundamental understanding of colloid and surface chemistry, liquid-solid interface chemistry, and electrochemistry of various metallic and dielectric thin films and heterogeneous structures containing them. His work has been published in several international scientific journals and includes 29 peer-reviewed papers, 4 book chapters, 18 conference presentations, and 21 patents.
