• PhD at Katholieke University of Leuven summa cum laude in electronic engineering completed in 2007 funded through a Scholarship from IMEC (Interuniversity Microelectronics Center)
• Principal Scientist at IMEC Belgium. Plus 18 years’ experience of the material research and microelectronics (focus on chemical mechanical planarization, electro- and electro-less deposition, atomic layer deposition, surface functionalization, polymer science and thin film deposition and characterization, including novel low-k dielectric materials, such as periodic mesoporous organosilicas (PMOs) and metallorganic frameworks (MOFs), atomic layer deposition, area selective deposition,...) with a strong blend of technical and scientific expertise
