Jim Zhang is currently a senior manager in the Customer Support Business Group of Lam Research Corporation. In this role, he focuses on scaling the Etch Business Group's impact and revenue by driving innovation in specialty technologies and forging strategic partnerships with customers in the greater China region, North America, and Southeast Asia. Jim is responsible for technical engagements with customers throughout the sales cycle, including technical review meetings, demo engagements, and post-sale process and product support. With special interest in power electronics and Si photonics, Jim authored numerous technical articles in peer-reviewed publications and holds U.S. and international patents. Jim has a Ph.D. degree in Physics from Brown University in Rhode Island, U.S.A.
