Hao Geng is a tenure-track assistant professor at ShanghaiTech University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2021, supervised by Prof. Bei Yu. His research focuses on next-generation AI- and LLM-assisted electronic design automation (EDA), particularly in design space exploration and computational lithography. His work in computational lithography has garnered four Best Paper Award nominations at top-tier conferences (two at DAC '24 and DAC '25, one at ICCAD '25, and one at ASPDAC '19).
